"Simply the mere sight and sound of water promotes wellness by lowering cortisol, increasing serotonin, and inducing relaxation. In fact, when it comes to reducing stress, being on a boat can be considered a type of medicine".

Today the Love Boat begins its journey away from Bodrum, cruising to a hidden bay where turquoise waters meet untouched landscapes, perfect for a tranquil day of relaxation and connection. This serene setting offers a chance to soak up the natural beauty and unwind before heading toward the bustling energy of Greece.
Here you have the opportunity to enjoy the crystal clear waters and white sandy seabed. Perhaps you'd like to grab some snorkel gear and enjoy a little underwater exploration? Or, maybe a relaxing float is calling you.
Today's Topic:
Deserted Island.
Wind down with a live sound bath. Experience the vibrations of Himalayan bowls, the soothing rhythm of the water wheel, and peacefulness of elemental chimes harmonizing with the sounds of the sea.
Good night, friends.
Today we enter Greek waters as the Love Boat travels to Kos. Discover the charm of Kos, an island steeped in history and vibrant culture.
Kos is one of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, and is known for its abundant sandy beaches. It’s also rich with Greek and Roman landmarks, particularly in and around Kos Town. This harbor town is dominated by the 15th-century Neratzia Castle. South of the castle are the Ancient Agora ruins, with a temple, shrine and columns. Perhaps the most notable landmark in Kos, The Tree of Hippocrates.
Hippocrates (the father of medicine), is quoted saying "Walking is man's best medicine."
Let's take a mindful walk through beautiful Kos, stopping at the Tree of Hippocrates for a bit of reflection. The tree of Hippocrates in Kos is a tree that has become symbolic for the teaching and knowledge of medicine. The tree is said to be under which Hippocrates taught his pupils, but also Paul who taught Christianity in Kos. The tree itself is an oriental plane tree, with a crown diameter of about 12 metres (40 ft), which makes it the largest plane tree in Europe.
Continue walking through streets lined with ancient ruins, visit shops, and enjoy activities like exploring the castle fort by foot, or buzzing around town on a buggy or scooter, plenty of free time to do as you wish!
Today's Topic:
Hippocrates famous quote, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food".
Hippocrates of Kos (c. 460 BCE - c. 375 BCE) was an ancient Greek physician and philosopher who is often called the "father of medicine". He's credited with establishing the foundations of clinical medicine and surgery.
If you enjoy live music and social gatherings, I suggest wandering back to town during our free time this evening. Kos is renowned for its vibrant nightlife!
Our first stop of the day is Nisyros.
Nisyros is known for its natural sauna created by the island's active volcanoes. The Volcano of Stefanos offers a unique experience where you can take a short walk and enter the volcanic crater, where you can feel the warm steam and experience the natural sauna-like atmosphere.
If you'd like to join us, we will be taking the short walk to the volcanic crater to experience this "natural sauna". Too risky for your liking? That's okay, feel free to hang out on board the Love Boat!
Today's Topic:
Plutarch's quote, “The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled.”
Plutarch (AD 40 – 120s) was a Greek Middle Platonist philosopher, historian, biographer, essayist, and priest at the Temple of Apollo.
Next stop....Rhodes!
Rhodes is the star of Greece’s Dodecanese islands thanks to its large size and incredible history. Packed with ancient and medieval sites, gorgeous beaches, and plenty of restaurants. The UNESCO-listed medieval city is incredibly well-preserved, complete with a castle, 2.5 miles of stone walls, and a maze of cobblestone streets.
Surrounded by formidable walls, the medieval Old Town of Rhodes is one of the biggest and best-preserved ones in Europe. Dominated by the imposing Palace of the Grand Master and the 15th-century buildings that line the stone-paved Street of the Knights, it makes you feel as if you’ve traveled back in time or as if you’ve stepped right into a fairytale. Only a short walk from the port and a must see!
We will continue soaking in the magic of the Dodecanese Islands while dining together on this beautiful island.
Dinner this evening will be at one of Rhode's most popular authentic Greek restaurants.
Also included in your retreat.
Today we sail to the enchanting island of Symi, known for its colorful neo-classical houses, pristine waters, and annual music festival, one of the most important artistic events in the country. This beautiful island will sing to your soul!
Together we will hike to the Venetian Castle and Windmills and enjoy the stunning panoramic views from the top.
After our hike, feel free to wander through the narrow alleyways lined with charming, pastel-colored buildings that climb the hillsides. Be sure to take in all of the beautiful & unique panoramic views that Symi has to offer.
Today's Topic:
The famous Aristotle quote: "Hope is a waking dream."
Aristotle (384-322 B.C.E.) was an Ancient Greek polymath and philosopher who made groundbreaking contributions to science and philosophy. He's considered the first Western biologist, and the inventor of formal logic.
In stark contrast to the colorful island of Symi, we cordially invite you to attend our evening white party featuring delicious mocktails.
Please wear all white, comfy or fancy, whatever style your favorite self would enjoy most!
Today we return to Turkey with a stop in Datça for passport checks.
Next stop….Kindos!
Welcome to the enchanting world of Knidos, a hidden gem nestled in the Southwestern part of the country. Knidos is an ancient city brimming with a rich history, captivating beauty, and awe-inspiring archaeological sites.
The most prominent archaeological site in Knidos is the Temple of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, where the famous statue of the nude goddess once stood. Also, a marvel of Knidos, the ancient theater, with its semi-circular seating arrangement, offering stunning views of the sea. Another fascinating site is the ancient sundial, a testament to the city's advancement in the field of astronomy.
So much to see, and Knidos is not just about historical ruins; it's a place where natural beauty is equally mesmerizing. The city is surrounded by the azure waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, offering stunning panoramic views. The golden beaches, dotted with ancient ruins, provide a unique setting for relaxation and exploration. It’s sure to be another amazing day.
Cacao contains a range of compounds that can enhance this heart-opening experience, including theobromine, which can stimulate the heart and promote feelings of euphoria, and tryptophan, which is a precursor to serotonin, the "feel-good" neurotransmitter.
After exploring the temple of Aphrodite, it seems fitting to offer authentic ceremonial grade cacao during our Tea Talk.

Love, lust, pleasure, & passion.
If you are not a night owl, you'll want to set your alarm for this beautiful starry sky meditation.
The intention behind this meditation is to gently guide you a heart aligned wish upon a star at precisely 11:11pm.
Back to the beautiful Turkish city of Bodrum, where this whole journey began.
Once a small fishing village of only a few thousand people, it has transformed over the last half-century into one of Turkey's most popular vacation hot spots. Though small, Bodrum has a big reputation for glitz and glamour and is popular amongst celebrities and those interested in indulging in the finer things in life.
The city features twin bays with views of Bodrum Castle. This medieval fortress was built partly with stones from the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, completed in the 4th century B.C.
Open invitation to explore the beauty of Bodrum. Or, if you are in the mood to simply relax on our last day at sea, please do.
Today's Topic:
Epictetus' quote, “Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.”
Epictetus (50 – c. 135 AD) was a Greek philosopher known for his work in Stoicism, a branch of philosophy that taught people to endure all things without showing emotion. Epictetus was born into slavery; later in his life, he became an important philosophical voice with an impact that would inspire generations.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation that is also referred to as "effortless relaxation". You will be guided to the edge of consciousness, which some people describe as dreaming while awake.
This evening's meditation is intended to bring awareness to the transformation that has happened this week, and to help you sleep "like a baby" tonight, in anticipation of a long day of travel.
Good night, my friends!
This mindful morning session will lend itself to a sentimental closing circle.
It's almost time to disembark the Love Boat, but this circle that we have created, like all circles has no true end.
